I had the pleasure of working with Neil Winward during his stint at ORIX. While this was the first time I got to work with Neil four years ago, his reputation preceded him. Neil is also an expert tax Structurer, which gives him a significant edge when it comes to structuring complex tax related financing, including tax equity. In addition to his financing experience, Neil brings a seasoned negotiating approach to the table. Neil is hyper-intelligent, organized in thought and deed, and a super thought-provoking guy. There's no such thing as resting on your laurels with Neil. He stays up-to-date on such a plethora of subjects that I always gain some insight when we speak. He's had several "lives" since we worked at Sevara together and he still constantly manages to make me take what I believe, turn it inside out to make sure it's justifiable, and adjust as necessary. He's a super asset in whatever he does!
